We are captives in the path of your love, there
is no one who is such a poor lover who we are, look
at us that we are strangers in this
city, be generous to us that we are beggars in this city
, asceticism, not that we sit in the corner of prayers
, and not that we are serious about the ruins, nor are we righteous,
nor drunk, we are ruined,
neither here nor there, when we say, where are we, we are
hallaj and shan, so that we are not afraid of the gallows, we are mad,
we are afraid of God, we are
afraid. It was as if we were afraid of calamity,
now what are we afraid of, that in the midst of calamities, we are secrets
to you, which no one is a mahram of,
if we go to your head, we will not touch anyone, we will not be saddened by hell, nor is it the
greed of heaven,
take us from the face of the curtain that we are eager to meet, the
heart of the sun of God, the pride of Tabriz, the
mercy of God, that we are burnt with the heat of God.
